One Step at a Time: Marta's Story

Stories like this illuminate the impact of this company like no numbers or stats ever could. It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Marta:

Today - where I am - is very good. CPM gave me a chance to grow – and to live nice, clean and safe. That’s very important! My property manager, Mr. DeVose, is very attentive and kind and caring.

I have been in this apartment for four years now. Before this, I was homeless living in the streets of North Philadelphia. I was drinking a lot and in the hospital three times. My friend finally took me to get help at APM [Asociación de Puertorriqueños en Marcha] with Project Escalara, which means "one step at a time"… and now six years later… look at this place! Look at me! Do you believe it?
