Philadelphia, PA.  We kicked off the 2011 Winter Extravaganza at the King’s Highway property in Philadelphia with almost a foot of snow! Thankfully, the weather did not stop people from coming out. Our tenants and their families were treated to the Magic of Matt Cadabra, a young and talented magician from New Jersey, who put on a fabulous show complete with face painting and balloon animals.

After the show, we played games, blew bubbles, and enjoyed delicious treats donated by CPM staff members. At the end of the extravaganza, all families received a gift pack which included family games such as checkers and dominoes, fleece blankets, and an individual toy for each child.

The Winter Extravaganza has become a yearly tradition and represents CPM’s attempt to share the holiday season with our tenants, regardless of religious or spiritual background.
